Default I read this and had to laugh.

Please read this article on... heheheheh... "1337 Speak".

1337

I found it really funny. And to think they just learned about this, and how they try to make it sound proffesional.

Example: o\/\/3nd--- An assertion of one's superiority.

It's almost as if she was... celebrating 733t speak.

Why yes, I'm sure misspelling and a lack of grammar is a badge of honour they hold proudly.

hahaha there must be some pretty stupid parents out there, because I remember showing 1337 to my dad a year ago, and he could understand it easily, and he isn't very computer literate.

it was actually developed by hackers to send messages to one another so people had a hard time to decode it... when it first started becoming popular... like.. no one understood it!

You know if someone says "W4tcH ym 1337 5k1llZ"

Correct them and say "You mean, Watch my elite skills"

You should try it seriously, it pisses them off.

But yeah, I hate leet as much as I hate another popular thing. Can you guess what that is?

Well, that's just another subculture. After some time I concluded that sub-cultures are for people who are ashamed of themselves.
